When i was saving my sims 3 game my computer restarted so i went back later to it and my game did not show up. where did it go and how can you get it back?

I'm sorry, that's wrong. There's a way: go to My Documents/Eletronic Arts/The Sims 3/Saves and you'll probably find your game there named as "gamex.sims3.backup" (gamex= the name you gave to your game)
Copy this archive and paste it, now it's gonna be called: "copy of gamex.sims3.backup", then you rename it for "gamex.sims3" only. (without the " of course) I just did it right now. I hope it works!
The sims 3 has a great backup of our games sistem! :D
