Depends on your opinion.
I personally think the starters could've been better, but im going w/ the grass type (Snivy) because i want to start w/ a fress type (always used the fire type starters because their evo line appealed to me more except for Kanto were i picked Squrtle because everyone picked Charmander) and the grass type looks the best out of the three (IMO) altho its offensive stats and movepool could be improved... the water type starter (Oshawott) is pretty cool...i dislike its last evo tho... the fire type (Tepig) is also cool, but im tired of the Fire/Fighting combo. Blaziken was epic. Infernape was alright. Emboar is pushing it.

I'm sorry but I have to point out I agree with everything in that paragraph. I always picked fire started but this time I thought snivy looked the best. I also dislike the last evo too.

You have to trade a starter to another Pokemon white or black game then trade the Pokemon back.
Yes, you do get to choose a starter Pokemon in Pokemon Black and White Versions.
Tepig is the best choice of starter for the game.Oshawott is the second best choice of starter for the game but will struggle against Nimbasa City Gym.Then Snivy will have a disadvantage since there are hardly any Pokemon that are easy to beat with grass type Pokemon.
Black and White are the games. Best Wishes is the anime series that Ash is in Unova. He doesn't pick a starter, since he already got his starter (Pikachu) from Proffesor Oak. He catches all the starters though.
It is one of the three starter Pokemon
