Once you have Golbat, Do these things: a) Make it your lead pokemon b) ALWAYS use it in battle c) Let it keep things it finds d) Go to the haircut brothers in the subway in Goldenrod City (the younger one is cheaper but he isn't as good as the older, more expensive, brother) e) Give it a soothe bell After all this, Your Golbat should be SUPER happy and evolve into a Crobat.
