Slowpoke cannot be holding a King's Rock in the wild on Pokemon Pearl and instead maybe holing the Lagging Tail item. However wild Poliwhirls now have a chance of holding it King's Rock. Wild Poliwhirls can be found in Route 225 with the Super Rod or on Routes 227 and 228 by surfing. Alternatively if you have a Pokemon with the Pick Up ability and at levels between 11 and 30 it has a 1% chance of picking up a King's Rock.
Here's a series of steps: 1.) Give your Pokemon the item for duplication. 2.) Save your game. 3.) Enter Bill's PC 4.) Deposit the chosen Pokemon, holding the item, into an empty box. 5.) Begin switching to another empty box, but turn off the game after the saving text finishes. 6.) Turn the game back on. You should have both your Pokemon, holding the item, and the duplicated Pokemon, also holding the same item.

In Unova, I spent days just leveling up my Pokemon. It does no good just to rush unprepared into battles. (It took me almost two months preparing for the Elite Four!) I also used some Rare Candies, which are rare, so use them sparingly. My way to strengthen my Pokemon is to get them all up a certain amount of levels one at a time. Say I have 3 pokemon. I would level up Pokemon #1 by 5 levels. Then I would level up #2 by 5 levels. THEN I would level up #3 by 5 levels. If they're all even, I have a better chance.

You have to get 1 and then give it to any Pokemon to hold. Then you can do the duplicating glitch to duplicate the Pokemon and the item.
