no i had to change mine back to a wep
Oh, dude, to connect your PSP to a WPA2-PSK network, you gotta go to the settings, find the network settings, choose the WPA2-PSK option, enter the password, and boom, you're in! It's like connecting your phone to Wi-Fi, but with a little more retro flair. Just don't forget that password, or you'll be stuck in dial-up land.
wep and wpa both are encryption standards to make a more secure wifi network, so your xbox needs to have the same wep/wpa code that your router is set to. if you have to choose between wep or wpa, choose wpa if possible because it is virtualy uncrackable and it will save your bacon
yes make sure that it is the right type of onnection for example wep,wpa tkip there are more.
Unfortunately no, the wi-fi chip inside the Nintendo DS does support pinging WPA networks with the right software but DS games are built to only connect to WEP wi-fi connections. So sorry, but if you wanted to play on a WPA network, its not possible.
It means the WPA key for your router, the same key your other devices use to connect to it. It is an encryption key that only lets authorised users use that network.

That depends on the router being used to connect to the internet. Ask whoever maintains your internet connection.
If you mean a WEP or WPA key, that is to connect wirelessly for an internet connection. You'll need to enter the key, which you should have if the router or access point is yours.
The internet password for your wifi
WPA or WEP
first of all once you have turned your psp on u then go to settings, and go to Network Update. Press new connection and then scan.....once it has found the SSID (the Internet location) click on the one that u want to use. Then keep press the right button until u have to type in a WPA key make sure that it is secure. Press start two times and then press the right button again and click on easy click the right button again and this time name the connection something that you will remember so you know which one to chose next time. Read your details and check if they are correct then save your settings, have fun. Yey ^ l Yes that is correct.. But you have to KNOW the WPA key that you are entering.. Also when you go on scan Look for a network connection that Doesnt say something like: WEP, No security or else you have to Enter the WPA code.. But the problem is, If u wanna connect to your own internet, YOU have to be the one that has a router, ROuters send signals out to everyone/thing that need internet.. SO if youre close enough the psp will detect the signls to work, If your router has a WPA key the look at the side of the bar code.. USUALLY you'll see a code under.. THATS the WPA key.. Jusst some improving to that guys question.. He did well but he missed some details..
Actually, it's closer to a passŵord (methinks), & it's used to connect to the internet via a given router [the wi-fi & lan device with all the lights (either still or blinking) & the phone cable slots]. Said WPA key can be found on the router's relative documents or even on the thing itself.
go to network settings - infractructure mode - new connection - enter manually - enter ssid(syas on or under wireless router e.g. sky45637) - wpa-psk(tkip) - enter wpa key(under router under "network key") - then just do automatic for everything and do not use for proxy server - enter a name and test connection
First you need to switch the WLAN on, using the button on the PSP's edge. Next, you need to go near a wireless access point, which is either unprotected (McDonalds often has a free wireless connection for customers) or one you know the SSID and encryption key for. The PSP has wireless settings which you enter all these in, and it will then make a connection.
WPA key is a password for your wifi connection it's to help you be secure.
You would need to connect wirelessly. On the touch, click on Settings, then Wi-Fi. Select a wireless network to connect to (entering the WPA key if necessary). Then, you should be able to click on the start button, then open your browser (The iPod Touch uses Safari).
