It is absolutely frustratingly based solely on luck. I've been playing the game since February or March of 2008. For the longest time, rewards were based on what you earned. Now, it's all luck. So, yes I pay for a game that I cannot enjoy the coolest part of simply because I have not been lucky enough to find a famed weapon in the freaking billions of enemies I've killed looking. And yes, I wonder why I continue to pay. I won't be for much longer. I'm sorry the answer isn't more encouraging. Try complaining to Disney. They won't listen to you either, but hey, you'll get to express yourself to...yourself.
