What is the best starter Pokemon on PMD2 EOTD?

Pikachu is great for monster houses and graduating from the guild because he is an electric type who can learn discharge.

Piplup is great for bosses, since he can learn bubblebeam,bubble,hydro pump and water pulse (especially water pulse which is learnt through using a TM), which are long- distance moves.Because he can attack first with those moves, they give him another turn.

Grass and water types are great for defeating "Groudon" (an illusion made by Uxie). That's why I had a Piplup and Treeko.

Skitty is also very great at defeating bosses, since it can firstly use sing then doubleslap. A great combination.

Treeko can learn detect which is a great protective skill.

Meowth can learn a wide variety of TM/HMs.
