Just make an Xbox Live Party and invite all of your friends to it. There are some maps you can use it though, ie Search and Destroy.

But in Search and destroy there is no re-spawning until the next round so if you are bad than it is pointless. In my opinion Demolition is the best game type because you always re-spawn so you can get more kills, you can get points for planting or defusing the bomb, and if you win you can get a very high match bonus.
