Here's a full guide on all best weapons in F2P ... enjoy

The best (melee) f2p armour as of the date: November, 29, 2010 is;

Helmet: Corrupt Dragon Medium Helmet (if you are poor, a rune full helm is best.)

Amulet: Amulet of strength (if you are a pure) or amulet of power (for the rest)Also, do not get amulet of accuracy, it is one if the worst amulets in the game because it's adds +4 to all attack bonuses, while the amulet of power adds +6 to attack, +6 to defence, +6 to strength, and +1 for prayer, anyone who says the amulet of accuracy is better than the amulet of strength is obviously an idiot..

Cape: Any of the Team capes will do.

Arrows: Since it is melee, I think none unless you just want to.

Body: Corrupt Dragon Chainmail (if you are poor, a rune platebody is best).

Legs: Corrupt Dragon Platelegs (if you are poor, a rune platelegs is best).

Pking weapon: Damage giving: Corrupt Dragon Scimitar (if you are poor, a rune scimtar is best). KOing weapon: Gravite 2h (if you are poor, a rune 2h is best).

Normal weapon: Gravite 2h, Corrupt Dragon Scimitar, Corrupt Dragon Battle Axe (if you are poor, a rune 2h, a rune scimitar, and/or a rune battleaxe is best).

Shield: Rune berserker shield 100, which you obtain from GE and charge it in the Fist of Guthix, or just get it from the Fist of Guthix entirely (if you don't like it, a rune kiteshield is best).

Gloves: Rune gauntlets (not worn-out rune gauntlets), which you obtain from the GE and charge it in the Fist of Guthix, or just get it from the Fist of Guthix entirely (if you are poor, get the pair of safety gloves, which is best for poor people).

Boots: Both of the Stronghold of Security boots.

Ring: The Lumbridge Explorer's ring 1, 2, and 3, which boosts your prayer and magic by 1.

Note: If you have no interest in doing Fist of Guthix or Dungeoneering, do the second choice.
