Quick Scoping is when you zoom in for less than a second and firing at your target.
Quickscoping is a VERY USEFUL TECHQUINE for players to use snipers. Since the sniper has a "one shot one kill", players uses the snipers as a advantage to kill the other players. Quickscoping is something fun to do and it usally works by "sleight of hand pro" but since Treynarch removed it (A.K.A Josh Olin) therefore not many players can quickscope. Many players are very sad and whining and complaning that quicksocping "is not a real thing" but when i tried quickscoping my NERF gun (longshot) it is 77% real.

(person who asked the question) Personally, for silenced classes, I use the M21 EBR with silencer and heartbeat. But for actual sniping, I use the barret 50 cal with fmj and heartbeat sensor. Tips I can give u r: Body shots r OK!!!; Don't wait too long to take the shot; don't snipe from the center of the map; on small maps, use an acog scope; and if u get cornered by a few enemies, and ur using an intervention, USE UR SECONDARY!!! IF uve got a barret, wa2000, or M21 EBR, u can use that, that's wat i do, but some people rnt too great at quick scoping/no scoping.
How do you quick scope on COD6?
Quick scoping is quite easy to train once you get the hang on it. Start by aiming down a normal scope and stick a very small piace of bluetack to the center of the crosshair, this will act as ur training wheels. Now when ur running around and you find someone you want to try and quickscope. Aim at them with the bluetack and hold down L3 to hold ur breath (default) when you have ur target ready quickly begin to aim into your scope and as soon as ur in ur scope shoot and come back out of your scope. If your bluetack was on aim it should of killed the guy. Make sure you learn when to shoot and keep doing this until you get the hang of it and soon you'll be able to quick scope someone in any situation. P.s Slight of hand pro makes it a faster process, but if your really struggleing then take it off for now. Hope this helped :) -- i_Mw2_i
