A hunter is a formidable covenant alien. It's a colony of orange eels that have one hive mind. Together they live in the blue armor of the hunter. Hunters always travel in pairs. Expect these for heavy defense. Hunters have a powerful plasma cannon on their right arm that can knock out and almost kill a fully charged spartan in one hit while they have a big shield on their left arm that they effectively defend themselves with. They only have one weak spot, the back. The best way to kill a hunter is by either taking big explosive weapons and shooting it, rocket launchers and fuel rod cannons work best, attacking the back with powerful weapons like energy swords or gravity hammers or shotguns, or chucking many grenades between the legs of the hunter so that it detonates BEHIND it.
