Pikachu is an electric type, so Ground type moves do a lot of damage against it. Electric type moves don't even affect Ground Type Pokemon. Electric moves aren't very effective against Dragon and Grass Types either, but Dragon and Grass type moves cause normal damage against Electric types. When it comes to stats, Pikachu's stats are not so good...I don't think I have to mention anything else. Pikachu isn't that difficult to defeat...And I don't think their levels go beyond 50 in the games. If you want to know all details about it, check guides, pokedexes, FAQs, etc., etc. If you want to know more about it (Not much to know though), go to Google and search for GameFAQs Pokemon Diamond (DS) Pokedex by Marriland. Do you play the games? Hope so, because all that I wrote up there, I hope it helps...Or maybe you wanted to know it because you watch the Anime a lot, and since Ash has a pikachu...Well, the Anime is quite different from the games...For Example, there are times when Pikachu's electric moves affect Ground type Pokemon, the episode which most people remember is "Showdown in Pewter City", where Pikachu's Thunder affects Onix. It doesn't matter if the Electric Pokemon is at Lv. 100 and the Ground Pokemon is at level 1, or anything like that! An electric type move should NOT affect a Ground type Pokemon!! There was another instance...in one of May's contests! May's Squirtle's Tackle affected Banette, a Ghost type Pokemon!!! It was also shown the other way around, when Ghost type moves affected Normal Types, which is not supposed to happen!!!!!!! Wait.....I'm getting a bit carried away, aren't I? Maybe you asked this question just for the sake of asking...or you were bored...I know people who do that. It doesn't matter......but this.....this is.........A Disgrace to All Pokemon Trainers!! You shouldn't be a Pokemon Trainer...........................Just Kidding.....Don't take it too seriously.

They are in veridian forest 2. Usually one random wave of pikachus go during that level.
First, you have to get a Yellow Orb from a scour Next, you have to hatch 6 pichus and evolve them all into pikachus Finally, you have to give each of the 6 pikachus (the ones that you hatched) the yellow orb. (you don't need 6 yellow orbs you just need to take it away from the pikachus) Hope this helped!
