Jun-A266, also known as Noble 3, was assigned to escort Dr. Halsey to ONI's CASTLE BASE on Reach underneath Menachite Mountain. Halsey made it safely to CASTLE BASE and presumably then survived the fall of Reach along with Delta Squad upon rescue by Master Chief and several other Spartans. While no record of death or anything beyond his mission to escort Halsey exists in the Halo Universe, we can assume he survives.

If you are referring to the book "The Fall of Reach", then no. The fall of Reach is what started the Halo events in the Halo universe, and isn't limited to the events which happened through the book. While the book focuses on a broad view of the Spartan II's and their near-extinction, the game focuses on a single team of Spartan III's, Noble Team. Spartan 259-Carter is Noble 1 and the leader of the team. The rest are as follows: Spartan 320-Kat (Noble 2), Spartan 266-Jun (Noble 3 and sniper), Spartan 239-Emile (Noble 4 and close-quarters expert), Spartan 052-Jorge (Noble 5 and only Spartan II in Noble Team), and Spartan [Your choice]-[Insert name here] (Noble 6, The player). While it is based off of the events that surround the fall of Reach, it isn't directly based off of the book.

Well actually in Halo: Reach at the end you see that they moved him into a diffrent ship but never un-freeze him. and at the very end you see the ship him and cortana were in at the end of halo 3 crash landed on reach. Hey, actually at the very end of Reach they show Master Chief and Cortana but not were they were in halo 3. When you see him,hes is frozen at the time of Halo 1 not Halo reach. This can be very confusing, I know. Remember, Reach is a prequal to Halo 1.( Halo Reach happened before Halo 1 but not made before.) =P
