It got glassed the most of any planet since it was a military base.
It wasn't exactly blown up. It was glassed, but not in the normal way, either. Glassing is sending streams of plasma down on a planet, and the heat created wipes out most life forms on the planet, sometimes making material (including organic material) into glass, hence its name. However, Reach was a bit different. The covenant detected forerunner artifacts on the planet, so they didn't completely glass the planet, as they were afraid completely glassing the planet would destroy the forerunner artifacts they held so dear. They only glassed the major military sights, leavinglarge pockets of life on Reach.
in a book, it says he survives, but in the game he is supposed to be dead. he may have been killed while returning after he escorted Dr. Halsey, or have been killed when part of reach was glassed. he is listed as MIA. he is probably dead, however.
Planet Reach being attacked by the covenant.
The Covenant invade Reach in the year 2552.

The planet Reach was glassed.
No and yes, it won't follow it directly, but Reach will be glassed in the end.

I drink Pepsi.
While fighting on the planet Reach a Covenant ship glassed(by glassed I mean bombarded the whole planet with their plasma cannons) them from space destroying everything. This is the Real Answer:This is not true, the other Spartans are still alive as given in the 3rd halo novel First Strike. The remaining Spartans are sent on a separate secret mission by Dr. Catherine Halsey--the creator of the Spartan II program and the AI Cortana--to the planet Onyx.
The books can tell you, I read one of the books, they died on the planet Reach as it was glassed (bombed from orbit) by the covenant. The master chief was on a space ship (maybe the pillar of autumn) at the time, he saw the planet get glassed. There's a slight chance I'm wrong but I remember it well. Yeah, all but three Spartans (Master Chief, Sam, and another person) were aboard a covenant ship when Reach was destroyed. For the full story, read the book. It is actually really well written.
Planet Reach is a planet colonised by humans of the future.
Reach was a planet that had carried UNSC troopers such as Master Chief. It was because of Noble Six's death they found the planet as we all know today as Halo. (No one really knows how Reach was created, but my theory was it probably happened like the Big Bang Theory.)
Reach is the planet that the game is based on.
Planet Reach.
Jun is probably dead in halo reach the video game and got glassed however in the books he,yes, would still be alive.
