ah, my specialty. Well, that depends. Does your opponent use compulsory evacuation device (i think) when you attack them? Because then the attack is negated.
If a player controls one monster, and this monster can't be selected as an attack target, then you may attack directly. So one situation will be if the player has Umi and The Legendary Fisherman, or Guardian Kay'est. These can be ignored, and a direct attack can be made.
However - this does not apply if the one monster is an Earthbound Immortal. If a player only controls one monster, and this is an Earthbound Immortal, then he cannot be attacked in the same way, the monster cannot be bypassed, monsters will simply be unable to attack. This is a specifically ruled difference, though without explanation from Konami.
If the player controls two unattackable monsters, then again, player and monsters are safe from being attacked. No attacks can be declared against any of them unless circumstances change.
Marauding Captain's effect states that as long as there is another Warrior-Type monster on your side of the field that your opponent cannot select another monster as an attack target. Command Knight's effect states that while at least one other monster exists on your side of the field, your opponent cannot select this card as an attack target. If you were to play Ring of Magnetism upon Command Knight, your opponent would have to attack Command Knight, but they cannot, because you would be controlling Marauding Captain as well. In short, your opponent would be in "attack lockdown" since they cannot attack what cannot be targeted (i.e, Command Knight), and since Command Knight HAS to be targeted because of Ring of Magnetism, your opponent simply cannot attack. Well, until your opponent destroys Ring of Magnetism. Or Marauding Captain. Or Command Knight. Dark Hole, Raigeki, Tribute to the Doomed, Dark Core, Fissure, Heavy Storm, Harpie's Feather Duster, Twister, Dust Tornado, would all kill this combo. Sorry to ramble. Hope it helped.
Monster Jam - video game - happened in 2007.
If the attacking monster has lower ATK than the defence-position defender's DEF, then the defender is not destroyed at all. What will happen is the attacking player will take damage equal to the difference between the attacker's ATK and the defender's DEF, but neither monster will be destroyed.
What will now happen is called a "replay". Answer taken from YGO! TCG Website: A replay is triggered when an attack has been declared, and then during the attack a potential attack target on the opponent's side of the field appears or disappears. A replay can also occur because the attack target is no longer a legal target during the attack. A replay causes the attack to "rewind" to the time when the attacking player chooses their attack target. The attacking player can choose to keep attacking with the monster, but choose a new attack target (including the original target, if possible & desired), or to not attack with that monster at all. Note that a replay involves the continuation of the attack or non-continuation of the attack. It does not involve a new attack. If you pay 1000 Life Points to attack with "Dark Elf", and a replay occurs, you do not have to pay again in order to continue the attack. The monster that was attacking when the replay occurred is still considered to have attacked the original target, even if you decide not to continue with attacking that target when the replay happens. It can not attack again after another of your monsters, nor can you manually change its battle position in Main Phase 2. A replay does not rewind to the beginning of the Battle Phase. So attacks by other monsters that turn which have been completed are totally unaffected by a replay.
well, the man will go back to the past/into the future (you will not see this happen). then when he comes back, he will give you the cell battery, which raises a pokemon's attack if it is hit by an electric attack
No the attack would not happen because they would no longer have a monster in attack position to attack with.
If the opponent's monster is in attack mode, then both monsters are destroyed. If it's in defence, then nothing happens.
Now in order to use capture, several things must happen, most obviously you need the capture ability(Hunters and ranger bow). In order to use this ability correctly, it can only be used on injured monsters (i.e. they cannot have full health).Just as another side note, sleep, stop, blind and the direction you attack from have no effect on the percentage to capture a monster. > Any undead monster (zombies, vampires) cannot be captured. > Any rockbeast monster (bladebiter, toughskin) cannot be captured. > Any fairy monster (sprite, titania) cannot be captured. > Any tonberry monster (tonberry, masterberry) cannot be captured. > The monster you are catching cannot be the last enemy on the field. > The monster you are trying to catch cannot be ko'd. > The monster may be special, and in turn simply uncatchable.
Impossible cannot happen, unless you have monster slong.
