you cant do anything to make your skills go up "faster", but what you can do is cheat. bring up the cheatbox in the NEIGHBOURHOOD and enter the following: boolprop testingcheatsenabled true hit enter. thats the cheat. then when you go into your family you can just drag up their skills. its a good cheat. play around with it and you can do some awesome stuff.
