Chinese children, mainly girls, play Chinese jump rope. It is played by tying the ends of a jump rope together, placing it around the ankles of two people, with one person jumping left to right inside the rope, one foot in and the other out, turning half way with the rope between your ankles and then trying to jump inside the rope without stepping on it. Once that happens the rope is then moved up half way between your knees and ankles and so on and so on. The higher the rope is the harder the level.
In addition to traditional Chinese games, children in China play the same games as those in the Western world. With the addition of a much more Western culture, the Chinese have adapted to play, wear, and eat the same things. They play Video Games such as World of Warcraft and they have traditional boardgames such as Go, Chess, and checkers. A popular game is also "Rock-Paper-Scissors", very similar to the Western version. They even play a game similar to hopscotch.
