Well supposedly its apples for boys and watermelons for girls eg:2 apples=boys and the same for girls...
but when i tried it for my sim i ate 2 watermelons and i just had a girl but i think theres a cheat for it Although i dont know what.. sorry i wasnt much help but ill let u no when i find out (:

Yes it is possible. Sometimes it's just sheer luck to get twins. I got twins on The Sims 2 once, although I did make my Sims "try for baby" and "woohoo" quite a few times (no I'm not weird, I guess I just got bored). But I have heard that there is a cheat for get twins but you have to put it in once she is pregnant. Here it is: Click Ctrl shift and C all at the same time, a box should appear. Type in: ForceTwins - At the end of the pregnancy you should get twins. Either that or you can type in: twinzr2cute or twinsr2cute OR if you have Open For Business installed (again, wile she is pregnant) you can make her eat cheesecake, apparently it makes them have twins!

Well, you can only have twins RARELY in the sims 2. If you have Open For Bussines, then eat a peice of cheese cake after you woo hoo with your partner. If that does not work, then hit SHIFT-CTRL-C to open the cheat window, after you tried for a baby and hear the luliby, type in Forcetwins in the cheat window and that will get you twins for sure, however you can not chose the gender.
