First of all you must make sure that you have put the houses download into a folder called "Downloads". This folder must be in your sims folder, along with the ones that came with it such as movies, picture, music so on and so on. Now, the file you downloaded most likely came in a zipped file. Go intot he zipped file. Highlight everything inside. left click & click on unzip/open. I'm not sure witch one. Some files will have moved into the downloads file, some might not have. DO NOT DELETE THE ORIGINAL FILE! I did that & lost 430 objects. This process also works with clothing, furniture, wallpaper & anything else that can be put onto the Sims files. P.S.
