Purists prefer NOS parts or reconditioned older parts because on a restoration, date stamps, etc. which are not on the "repops" factor into your score. Also, even though quality is excellent, there is usually a minor difference somewhere.

No absolutely not, I would not recommend this controller to anyone who is a hardcore gamer. Spend the extra bucks on a OEM designed Rapid Fire controller. This controller is awesome in the programing but the feel to it is very cheap and the worst part is that Turtle Beaches do not work with the controller.
It is either you do not have it, or you need to install proper driver. Motherboard manufacture website. If you have OEM computer, you will have check producer's website instead.
