well, if he's got a game, make him beat the game and tell him you can only complete the pokedex if you have caught uxie, azelf and mespriert with a master ball and tell him tat you can only get one in a secret shop underwater which you can only go to with a Pokemon that knows the move dive which can only be caught from 12:00 am to 12:01 am at lake valor, then he'll probably stop playing
