you go to canalave city and go to the hotel and it will open then when you wake up you find a diary in the hotel take it and it will tell you were to find it. after you get the diary go to the sailor he will take you to new moon island and then when your there go into the tree with a shadow and hey will be floating in the air over a puddel of water. i hope i helped if not sry.
