Climb all the way to the top of mount silver. (You need a pokemon with the move rock climb.) There, at the top, you will meet trainer red!
Advice for beating him:
All of his pokemon are level 80+
Pikachu. Use a strong ground-type move on him. Pikachu lacks defense.
Snorlax. This one is hard to take down, but use a powerful fighting type move.
Lapras: Scince it is hailing, Lapras won't be affected by the hail. Use electric, rock.
Venasaur. Use fire or flying on him. NOT WATER
Blastoise: Grass type will have him crying. I recommend teaching a pokemon frenzy plant at blackthorn city.
Charizard: Use a water type pokemon. Once again, teach a pokemon hydro cannon at blackthorn move tutor. I reccomend Ferlagatr. I used him!
Oh, by the way, you can also catch the legendary birds after earning 16 gym badges.
Zapdos: Look on route 10 bt yhe power plant.
Moltres: Search for a hidden cave in mt. silver. You need surf as well as rock climb.
Articuno: Look in the seafoam islands. The maze is hard! Don't give up!
