Some of the people on the game (the characters) will actually fart which is one of their moves. An example is Wario. He is pretty gross, he's the worst for crude humor. He farts, he picks his nose, and he scratches his butt which is pretty nasty. Other characters do similar things. Also, some of the princess characters like peach, her underwear shows when her dress goes up. You'll also notice that when you're using her in a game and when you pause it you'll see her underwear. There are many reasons why it is rated crude humor, if you have played the game you'll see what I'm talking about.
