There are a lot of variables that can affect the performance of a player. The most obvious one is the capacity of the computer/internet of the player. If those aren't on par with the minimum requirements for the game, you will get errors, have input lag and possibly ruin the game not only for yourself, but for the other players you are connected with.
Now, for the human factors influencing performance, you have several:
Fatigue - Depending on your state, you might be slow to react, have low awareness, get distracted/zone out easily and just plain not pay attention.
Hunger - Playing when hungry is not a good idea. You will not think 100% on the game and you might even be tempted to play more aggressively/go tilt.
Temperature - always keep your hands moving by micro-ing your keys, moving your cross-hair, etc. Having cold hands is bad.
There are many more factors you could think of but those are the most obvious ones.
The disadvantages are your eyes will hurt, and playing games on computer is not healthy to us.

no. playing games will not make your comp slow. If you download a game that takes up alot of member then, probably your computer would get a little slower.
Most modern computers will be able to play music in the background without degrading the overall performance of the computer.
Detraining refers to losses of performance, power, or strength. Strength is lost during a season depends on several factors, such as how much playing time. However, short detraining periods may not affect performance.
Many factors indeed! A computers hardware can influence performance or limit it. An example would be that a motherboard can handle 6gb/s transfer speed, but the hard drive can only handle 3gb/s. Also, the amount of software and files can influence performance. If software is limited and files are few a computer could potentially be fast. But a computer that has been loaded down with files and software, like a man with a backpack full of concrete, its going to go slow. I'm sure there are many other factors.. but that's all i have.
yes
Playing computer games (I think) who even asked this question?

Playing on a computer can make you not hungry. This happens because a computer occupies your mind and you don't think about the fact that your hungry.
No. Installing and playing games on a computer only slows it down while you are playing them.
A larger monitor will marginally slow down your computer. In most cases, you will not notice the difference. As for affecting gameplay, it depends on what games you are playing. Some games will simply resize the screen to fit the larger monitor, while others will allow you to see more of the environment on a larger monitor.
