The benefits is.... it will free up space. The dangers are... You will be more bored, you will loose your saved games. you will not be able to activate the game on any other computer exept maybe one, depends on your lisence for the copy and will render it useless, and in the very very very rare cases it could crash your system or burn up a harddrive.
