Well, I know of only one FREE online game that has masses of players.

The game isn't exactly realistic, but it can be, relying on what colors and patterns your character has. In FeralHeart, you can choose to be a wolf(canine) or a lion/cat (feline). Despite the fact there's no prey, it's still a good game for feline and/or canine roleplays. There are hundreds of people on there, and the maps are huge, but no matter where you go, there is most likely to be at least one other player there! It truly is a good game. Although the MODs on there say the game was programmed for ages 13 and up, there is nothing harmful or inapropriate on the game, except maybe some mature players migh tuse harsh language every once and a while.
