I was thinking this myself . You could make a really posh family or a slob family or a family who like to adopt lots of children, or lots of pets, make a seniour family or a family who like fitness. The possibilities are endless!!!!
you could also make a family that is big on family and like doesn't worry a lot about their job but more about haveing kids and stuff like that or you could do the opposite and make a family that just cares about money. or you could mix them and make a family that has a money sim and a family sims

You could create really silly nes such as the Christmas family with a fat santa with his long beard or a number family and names them 1 and 2 and 3 and 4. You could even have arguing families or do really bad things to annoy people. Like the other person said.. the possibilitys are endless!!

well i was thinking have a mum and a dad who have totally different personalities get them to have 2 kids then you could get the dad abducted or suicide or just easily make the mum and dad get a divorce. Then what ever you do with the farther make him go and make the mum keep the kids then she could get together with a guy get married and have some kids. But the options of a family is endless!!!

Hey. Well, my idea of a good family is this: Make a female adult & a male adult, choosing the family aspiration or the romance aspiration. No relationship.... yet!
Then make them fall in love, then get them to marry, and then adopt/try-for-baby. If you make them try-for-baby, you can make twins with the cheat *boolprop testingcheatsenabled true* right clicking on the pregnant sim and clicking *forcetwins*. It's a great cheat, because when they are teens you will get even more money. And then just carry on doing that with the sims 'till you get bored. I made it through 29 families 'till I got bored!

Hi. Once I made a family where there was a single mum and she had loads of kids with all different fathers. The mum was called Jessie and she was addicted to painting and was going out partying every night so she didn't really have much time for her kids (she wasn't a very good mum). As for the kids, they all had really different personalities but they all looked out for each other and loved each other. The oldest kid was called Katie and she was always trying persuade her mum (Jessie) to look after the kids more. In the end the mum committed suicide and Katie (now a young adult) had to look after her 6 brothers and sisters (5 sisters, 1 brother). It was a pretty sad and depressing story but I had great fun playing it and I certainly never got bored with a family like that! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I made an old style Asian family who lived on a mountain top in a small, authentic house. The house was on top of a incredibly tall mountain of which you had to climb up many seats of stairs to reach. I made a very exotic garden on the bottom with lots of japaness autumn maples and fountains and Asian inspired plants. It ended up badly though. There was a very pretty Asian woman in an authentic dress whose husband cheated on her. He was also in authentic clothes. He left her not knowing that she was pregnant and married a american girl that had a poor job and lived in a tiny apartment. The wife got remarried and had lots more kids. She was a rich stay-at-home wife while her husband was in the culinary career. (the wife's name was Jasmine and the first guys name was Jake, the current guy's name is Alex.
