An action replay is a cheat code gadget. You can buy it at most game places i got mine at game stop. You take the Action Replay and insert the desired game into the top and then put the action replay into the ds in the same slot where the game would be put. when you turn on the ds system it will bring you to a different screen with 4 circles in the corners you can choose one of those or you can just press play and it will bring you to the game. You enter codes into the Action replay (for those look on some cheat websites they're everywhere!) and before you play you choose which cheats you want to be active during your playing time and there ya go!
