if you are going up against the seventh gym leader in Pokemon diamond or pearl, then use a infernape, or a machamp!
You will easilly K.O any ice type Pokemon as long as you know any of the following moves: Sesmic toss, flame wheel, Brick Breaker, etc. etc.
