Season 17 Episode 20
Episode 37. Although there are rumors of a 38th episode.
Put it in battles. Never let this particular Pokemon lose in battle. Don't always put it into the daycare.
Series 4, episode 13: Journey's End.
I saw it in the last tournament of the manga.
In Cerulean, there is a house with a girl and three Pokemon. I believe it is near by the Pokemon center. Go inside and beside her will be a bulbasaur that she will give to you. However you will have to have a very happy Pikachu with you, or else she won't give it to you. Here is a tip if your Pikachu isn't happy enough. Have it at full health, and keep giving it potions. They won't have any effect, and you won't lose any money, but your pikachu will get happier and happier with each potion that you give it. To check how happy your pikachu is, just face it and press A. Your pikachu will do an action, or its face will appear, showing you how happy it is.
Yes, they do. A Pokemon's ribbons, stats, and accomplishments will stay with the Pokemon even if it evolves. However, in Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver, Pokemon that participated in the Pokeathlon will lose their earned medals if they evolve. The medals are saved as "The Pokemon _____ earned this medal", so if you use another ______ to compete in the Pokeathlon, it will save that new earned medal with the previous ones. For an example, let's say you have a Pikachu who won a Speed Medal, and a Jump medal. The game will save the data as, "[Player's] Pikachu have obtained the Speed Medal and Jump Medals." If you evolve Pikachu into a Raichu, it is no longer a Pikachu, so it doesn't have any medals. Now, let's say you took a different Pikachu to compete in the Pokeathlon, and that Pikachu won a Skill Medal. Now, the game saves the data as, "[Player's] Pikachu have obtained the Speed, Jump, and Skill medals." even though it's a different Pikachu.

You automatically start with pikachu. Later on in the game, talk to people and you can get bulbasaur, squirtle AND charmander. Your rival will get eevee and will evolve it depending on whether you win or lose the first two battles with him. You can turn around and "talk" to pikachu, and he will show how happy he is! HOPE IT HELPED!
You can lose your memory from becoming old or from losing to much white brain cells.
