The first Nintendo was the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) with the large flat cartridges(4inches x5 inches). Then came Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES), that system had smaller fatter cartridges with a curved top(probably 4 inches x 3 1/2). Next was the Nintendo 64. Next was the Game Cube that takes a CD. Finally is the Wii. The Wii uses the CD also. The CD's from the Cube can be used in the Wii. The handheld systems started with the gameboy, next was gameboy color, then the gameboy advance, then gameboy advance sp, next the ds followed by the ds lite which is the same as the original DS, just smaller version and now finally the DSi.
