The actual game ID of a DS game is located on the front of the cartridge, at the bottom right hand corner. It usually is a 10 letter combination which looks like this: AAA-AAAA-AAA The game ID asked for by the DS Action Replay (AR) when you are trying to enter in a new game is a different series of numbers and letters, which generally looks something like this: AAAA-12345A67 (On an interesting note, the first four letters in the AR game ID is always the same as the middle four letters in the actual game ID.) As far as I know there is only one way to find the AR game ID, and you have to use the AR to do so, but it's very simple to do. Step 1: With the game in the AR and the AR in the DS, turn the DS on. The standard AR menu screen will come on. Step 2: When the main AR menu comes up, remove the game cart from the AR. The AR will prompt you to insert a game Step 3: Re-insert the game. The AR should now say that this is an unknown game, however, the AR game ID will appear at the bottom left corner of the screen.
If you're using an action replay,do the following: 1.Insert game into action replay, and turn Nintendo DS on. 2.To the left of where it will say 'unknown game',there will be a list of numbers and letters. That is your game ID. 3.Press green button, and then press 'add new game',and enter your game ID.\ Werecool says: That does not work! My AR didn't reconize the code even though Transformers Autobots and Decepticans were already on AR! Its because the game ID has changed so when you change the game ID there seems to be no possible way to get the cheats to work. This is because the cheat codes are matched with the game ID and since the ID has changed, how do you find the new cheat codes? IDK! Someone may know, if they do post a link.
the second one is right werecool says: Well that didn't answer his question. The first one is actually right. The second one is old, so it doesn't work. The reason why is because Nintendo sometimes updates their games so then they have different game ID's that go with different codes, so unless someone knows where these codes would be a lot of people would be very greatful. EDIT From Werecool: Also, just changing your game iID to the correct one in AR doesn't help, because those cheats are assigned to the old ID.
The game ID shold be on the back of the game cartrige.
On the front of the DS game card, near the bottom will be the game ID.
Pokemon Pearl's game ID is APAE-31D0AFDE.
you can see the ID when you put the game in to your AR

I know for a fact that this works, as I have done it several times myself. Hope this is helpful.

What ID do you want and I will send you an AR code.
You google for the id and then go on the thingy where you select the game, and you click add new game and follow the directions.
i dont know soooooo
go to codjunkies.com
Go to a website that shows you the ID for the game and put it on.
wright down the game id (the black numbers at the top when you put it in) and click add new game type in primemetroid or what ever it is and type the game id in.
In order to add a game to the action replay you need to have the game's ID. The ID is located on the front of the game card. For example, the ID of Pokemon Platinum in America is NTR-CPUE-USA.
