There is a house above the gym `Pokemon Fan Club` there is a old man go and talk to him answer yes to his question and he will give you rare candy. I know where some of the Rare Candies are. There is one in the Ruins of Alph (you need Rock Smash). There is one in the Lighthouse and one in the Whirl Islands but you need the Silver Wing and the Tidal Bell (in Pokemon Soul Silver) but you only need the Silver Wing in Pokemon Heart Gold. There is also one in the Pokemon Fan Club in Vermillion City
