In order to get a Shiny Pokémon from an egg you have to save before getting the egg, it will not work if you save after you get the Egg but before the Egg hatches because it'll always be the same Pokémon however you will have to soft reset a lot though.
There's no such thing as a shiny egg, only shiny Pokemon. It is not predetermined. If you save just before it hatches, you could try restarting it until it hatches shiny. Or, use and Action Replay.
There is no way of telling if a Pokemon in an egg is shiny until it hatches. Sorry.
In the second generation, you had a 50% chance of getting a shiny Pokemon this way, but in the 3rd generation onwards, chances were decreased and you did not have a better chance of getting a shiny Pokemon by using this method. Additionally, you won't know if the baby Pokemon will be shiny until it hatches because eggs containing shiny Pokemon do not look any different from eggs that contain non-shiny Pokemon.
Yes, you can. You just have to be lucky enough to find one. I found a shiny Swablu and now I have a shiny Altaria. I found my shiny Pokemon way before beating the elite four.
What do you mean how do you make a shiny Pokemon stay shiny if you get a shiny Pokemon it stays shiny ok!

If it hatches as a shiny pokemon, you will be able to tell by looking at it.
Use the shiny Pokemon cheat code. That keeps the Pokemon that hatches shiny.
It might be shiny but then it might not.
I think a egg with a shiny Pokemon in it is a different color
no, when the egg hatches it will be normal depending on the game

eggs arent shiny, the pokemon that hatches out of them are. Its very lucky to gget a shiny, but your chances are increased by spending time with it, rater than putting it in the box.

All legendaries can be shiny when soft resetting.
well, if you keep saving it, then hatching it, it won't be a shiny. but if you press A, B, START, SELECT while it is hatching, you have a 50/50 chance.
It hatches into any baby Pokemon (Pichu, Cleffa, Igglybuff, Tyrogue, Smoochum, Elekid, or Magby), that has a 17% chance of being a Shiny.
