Playing PS3 on 2 screens is not possible since the PS3 only has one HDMI output. It is possible to clone the screen to another TV if your TV allows that. Playing a PS3 on 2 screens separated requires an extra PS3 and a console link.
Im sorry to tell you that the U.S PS3 games will not work on UK PS3 console, and the reason for that is -The PS3 games are made with regions. The US PS3 games are made for region 1 and UK PS3 games are region 2... Therefore the region 1 ps3 console will only play region 1 ps3 games, just like region 2 ps3 console will only play region 2 ps3 games. Hope that makes any sense. If you have more questions just message me. The reason is not region coding, but it is the USA TV design system is different from the others and games made to work for the USA system do not all have the ability to be changed and be played on the UK and Europe TVs. The affect is the same as if they were region coded except that region coding fixes also will not work because it is the TVs that can not play the games and not the PS3
It could be that you don't have the cable plugged into the correct spot on your TV. If you are using the AV cable that came with the PS3 and not a Component PS3 cable 2 of the RCA plugs go for sound and only one is for Video. The AV cable that came with the PS3 is not for a HDTV connection and the settings need to be corrected. While you said you changed houses you must have also changed TV's or you would not have needed to switch from HDMI. If your new TV is an HDTV then you need to purchase a PS3 component cable if it doesn't have HDMI plugs and if not you need to change your settings on the PS3. To set the PS3 setting on the PS3 back see the PlayStation Super Secrets link which I have clip and pasted below: Hold Power button down for two beeps (while PS3 is off): Reset video to lowest settings.
41V3-15100 is a switch not a splitter. You need an amplified splitter part 41V3-04100. Then if you use 2 and your TVs have 2 HDMI in ports, you can switch between the PS3 and Cable box.
This depends on the game your are playing. Some allow this, and some don't.

You could call it playing, but the TV is only the sound and audio for the PS3 To get reception on 2 or a 100 TVs you only need to split the A/V signal that leaves the PS3 You still can only have 2 players playing if the game allows it and the other controller is close enough for the PS3 blue Ray to work
Yes. The PS3 comes with a A/V cable to connect to a standard 480 television that has a single video jack and 2 audio jacks. Connection of the PS3 to a TV with jacks is easy and simple and the PlayStation will give you a clear sharp picture.
Ps3 by far if you have a good television.
I have a ps2 and i use it for about 3 hours, for a ps3 it use the same amount of energy for about 2 hours (thats like having an old tv on for 2 hours) so i guess you should play it for about 2 hours and it will not use too much energy! The PS2 uses 8.3 volts DC and far less power than a PS3 but both connect to TV sets. The question of whether playing a PS3 is a waste of energy could be applied to the TV just as easily.
No it does not have to be a special TV or a HDTV to connect and play the PS3. You do need a TV that has A/V input capability. That means 2 Audio RCA type Plug inputs and one Video RCA Type plug input are needed to connect the PS3 to the TV with the A/V cable that comes with the PS3.
If you had a setup like what is found in some stores that show the same Video on all the TVs in the store you could show it on hundreds of TVs. You would not be playing it on more than one TV, but seeing it on more than one TV. You play it on the Sony PS3 and watch it on the television. You might be able to confirm this at a Best Buy or similar type store as my answer does need to be confirmed. I can see that there could be problems if not all the TVs were HDTVs to receive the proper system settings for the PS3.

depends but as of game grapics usally sony ps3 cause they make TVs
Ahh!! yes this is what happened to me! Simple if you change your PS3 to a TV with HDMI to a TV with multi AV Cables (red, white, yellow). 1.MAKE SURE YOUR PS3 IS OFF 2. HOLD DOWN THE ON BUTTON ON THE PS3 UNTIL YOU HERE 2 BEEPS ( 10 SECONDS ). *THAT WILL RESET THE SETTINGS YOU HAVE ONLY FOR THE SOUND/IMAGE TO STANDARD, IT WILL NOT EFFECT YOUR SAVED ITEMS OR HISTORY :D, have a good one
