Magikarp evolves into a gyarados at level 20, and you have 4 options to get it there. 1. Set magikarp as your first Pokemon, and go to a place with high level Pokemon. On the first turn, take it out and put in a good Pokemon to finish the battle. Both Pokemon split the experience points. 2. Feed it rare candies to level it up instantly. 3. Have it hold an experience share while another Pokemon gets high experience points, and each will get half of the points. 4. Take it to the day care center, and walk around. Each step you take earns 1 experience point.
You can't. Unless you want to waste an eternity and a huge amount of money on 22 Rare Candies.
no... you can't get the actual Pokemon. There is a Pokemon sign, though. In the cave level, when you're next to victreebell, turn around and take a picture of the constellation thingy.
in the distortion world he is a level 47 and he is also a level 47 in turn back cavePLEASE NOTE : GIRATINA IS not in its origin forme in turn back cave but you can go in the portal to the distortion world and get the griseus orb and forme him into his origin forme
After you get the pokeflute you turn it on and go to the sleeping snorlax and it wall wake up you will be able to fight it at level 50
Its evolves at level 20. A few ways I have evolved mine are using a Exp Share. If not you must keep Magikarp as the party leader and switch on the first turn.
Level 20, give it a Exp. Share and have your main Pokemon beat the crud out of the Pokemon you are battling

There is no purpose for it. Pokemon wanted to make magikarp the weakest Pokemon in the world but all Pokemon still need to have at least one move so they designed splash. The move does exactly nothing exept wastes a turn. Use an exp. share on magikarp if you want to level it up.
U need 2 b in the water and look for gyarados.(B-For u do,save the game.Ull know Y.) Each time u find a gyarados turn your Nintendo off.B-Cuz that's how u get 1.(If its not Shiny Turn the power off,2 make it easy 2 understand.)keep doing this until a Shiny gyarados appears.(Shiny Gyarados)
Gyrados.

Trade ur Paras into ur game and use sleep powder then change to any strong pokemon(i recomend (magikarp) and use splash and splash and splash..... after u use it all up ull turn into gyarados in the game and then use ultra beamcthen freeze him with ur powers and finally use ur pokeballs then ur masterball
Yes Pokemon can turn level 100. You will need patience and lots of experience or rare candies. Have fun....NOT.
You can't! It's so dumb it can only Splash--which doesnt do anything!! haha Actually, you can. Switch it to the front of your party outside battle, then enter a battle. Switch it out on the first turn, then use your other Pokemon to defeat it. After defeating one Pokemon (in a trainer battle), use your free turn to switch Magikarp back in. Rinse and repeat. (Alternatively, you can give it an Exp. Share.)
Uhh.... You can't get a gyarados to turn orange/red. You have to catch it like that. It is a shiny gyarados. All Pokemon can be shiny ( they are just a different color. nothing else). You can use an action replay to turn wild Pokemon shiny (although all the codes I've tried didn't work) so you can use the code and just go catch a red gyarados... or you can always trade for one. Otherwise there is about a 1 in 4,800 some chance of getting a shiny using an poke radar to improve your chances. Although, Pokemon that you fish for stay at the 1 in 4,800 some chance of getting one and can not be improved.P.S. If anyone can find a wild Pokemon shiny code that they are SURE it works than please post it.
Well, I once found a Gyarados in the marsh area of the Safari Game using a good rod. Or, you can just catch the legendary red Gyarados at the Lake Of Rage. If you are doing that, I would recommend saving right before so that if you accidentally feint it, you can just turn off your DS and restart that.
