No, just stay as stone age man and keep building the $15 troops constantly. As you gain more money build more turrets. One you get enough experience to evolve directly to modern age (I don't remember but I think it's 80000), do so (skip the middle ages). Make sure you have enough money saved up before you leave stone age, then upgrade all you turrets to rockets. Once in future age upgrade all 4 turrets again. You should not even have to build any troops once you get to the modern age.
