On Sims 2 Castaway. How do you go to the beach where you make a canoe?

to get to the particular beach(east beach)is quite simple.once you start on west beach, head into the airplane jungle.once you find the dark cave, go in it.search the cave for a bit until you find a little hill with little feet at the top.go to it and when you get the option to travel to skull jungle(not sure its the name but it is something in that direction)then search for the portal to west or east river plains. once you are there, look for a canyon.if you have the resources and the skills you can build a bridge but otherwise you must burn energy by going through the canyon.you will then show up on the other side.you then search for the portal to east beach and do basically the same thing for the raft
