You need to have java 6 or later installed on your mac for a minecraft server jar to open correctly. If this doesn't work you can use a terminal command to run the jar.

That is probably because you do not have any other people on the server. To let other people onto a server you need to give them your server ip.

If you are in a server, most servers are /tpa (players name) if its not there do /help and maybe u can find it
You must be on a faction server. Then do /f create (name) for more commands do /f help
