Well, not Crystal but there is rumours that a remake of Pokemon Gold and Silver will be made, Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver these should be coming out in Japan this year.
Its not a rumor anymore theyre coming march 14th
It wouldn't be logical to remake Crystal since that was a remake of Gold and Silver. They didn't remake yellow so why should be remake crystal.
Well I think they should make a remake of Crystal, because Crystal was the third of the GOLD - SILVER - and - CRYSTAL trio.
What doesn't make sense is that there is a Red, Green, Blue, and Yellow, but from what I know they only remade Red and Green as FireRed and LeafGreen. It does not make sense to make a _________Crystal.
They made a Red Blue and Yellow version and put it into FireRed and LeafGREEN
GREEN last time I checked is blue mixed with yellow
When using molecular compounds and elements gold and silve cant mix with crystal
Crystal makes more sense

Hey i think the reason there not making a remake of crystal is cause they're making Pokemon black and white and im probly sure if they make a middle version of black and white there probably gonna call it Pokemon Grey. If we are lucky they will make a remake of crystal there's a chance of it coming out after 2012-2014 but dont count on hope for it to coming out :/

As for Emerald, there is not going to be a remake because Yellow did not have a remake but red and green did. Crystal had no remake,either. But Gold and Silver did. CRYSTAL, as far as we know, WILL NOT BE COMING OUT FOR DS. Crystal was kind of a remake of both Gold and Silver versions. Like Platinum was a remake of both Diamond and Pearl. I would not exspect a remake of this game, sadly, because it is one of my favorites. Soulsilver (Silver remake) and HeartGold (Gold remake) will be coming out Spring 2010.

OK I'm going to improve the answer to this question because the guy before me wants to be an a#$ about it. I don't think you can catch Pokemon from Johto in Pokemon Diamond or Pearl, but I do know they are coming out with a remake of Pokemon Silver, Gold, and Crystal. It is for the DS so you will have to trade between someone with a Silver, Gold, or Crystal version to your Diamond and Pearl game.
