Is mamoswine worth it in Pokemon HeartGold?

I have a mamoswine in my team. It is like a golem or dugtrio because it is immune to electric-attacks. But it's primary type is ice, so u can easily defeat grass and bug types without needing a fire type. A bit like a 2-in-1. On the other hand, it is weak to water, fire, grass, fighting and steel and has a low defence stat. But it's attack and speed stats are quite something.
