that's a tough question... i began watching dragonball and Dragon Ball Z at the age of 7. i did not understand the plot that clearly. i recommend bein around 12 if you want to watch all three series and underdstand them.. hope this helps but it is not innapropriate besides the fact they show kid goku naked which isn't even bad

Dragonball and all other series is not really for kids when you see it properly bulmas and master roshi's character isn't really for kids is it with all those lifting her thing, and goku slapping between her legs
