Reshiram is genderless, but is designed to be like a female.
No it can be female or male.It can also be genderless, but not lengendary. Manaphy and Phione are two exceptions.
at the status (stat) you can see it right next to the name, if there is no gender sign, it is genderless
In the American version, it is Genderless. However, according to the Japanese site, it is female.
Cynthia has a female spiritomb lvl 61(i thought spiritomb was genderless), then she has a female roserade lvl 60, a male lucario lvl 63, a female gastrodon lvl 60, a female milotic lvl 63 and her most powerful Pokemon is her very well known female garchomp lvl 66...(this was the order she brought out the Pokemon in my case...hope it helped):)

Genderless Pokemon have tendencies to look either male or female. Meloetta may look female because it resembles a singer, with it's hair representing a music score. It doesn't imply that Meloetta actually has a gender.
Clown fish are born genderless. if the head female dies, one of the other fish change to a female. once it is a female, it can't go back to a male or genderless. the process is this: genderless---> male ---> female. It can't reverse.
ditto can breed with ANY Pokemon as long as it has a gender. (rare Pokemon are genderless, so u cant breed them. >.<)
No, it isn't. For example, if you hatch an egg in Floaroma Town, unless it is a genderless or all-male Pokemon like Tauros, it will always be female. Useful for getting female Combees.
Like most Legendary Pokemon, Mew is genderless, although I call it "he" or "him".
Some Pokemon would be genderless in reality, but even more for gameplay reasons. You're using a Ditto to breed out pokemon, it's easy now, but imagine the issues it causes if the pokemon that will let you breed any pokemon, wouldn't actually let you breed any pokemon. Imagine, if you will, a pokemon game were Dittos had gender, and you have a world that is much harder to come by certain species of pokemon. Plus, it adds flavor to certain pokemon if they can't be defined as male or female, without going so far as to add a third gender (something not every culture has defined) to the mix. Therefore, they become genderless.
