I actually don't think so. I think if you use Swords Dance, switch out the Pokemon and back, the effect goes away. But hey, Swords Dance should have a lot of PP, and it your Pokemon using it has high HP and strong defense, I think it would worth using the move again.

If there are not X Special Defends in that game, it raises Special Attack AND Special Defence. If there are X Special Defends in that game, then it just raises Special Attack.
