he goes back to his resting ground, once you have surf, go to the three lakes and in the middle of them will be landing grounds. inside each of these landing grounds , there will be the Pokemon mesprit (closest lake to your home town) and azelf and uxie will be in the other two.
yes that's where he goes but THEN he flies all around sinnoh which can get extremely annoying at times... u have to sort of trap him so he cant fly around u. also try not to fly because he just changes routes. hope it helped XP- Jordie
if you go to your normal poketch map and go from route to route you will see him but don't i repeat DON'Tfly to the nearest city he will go far away i suguestbetween route 214 and the spring path hope i helped :)
after u have gone to verity lakefront and have seen mesprit professor rowan will speak to you after that you simply go to jubilife city, go to the poketche place and on the 1st floor next to the counter there is a man speek to him and he will give you someapps one app he says something like having a map is convenient, no? then if you look through your poketch there is an app that looks like a map walk around and an image will apear head towards that image. the image will move but eventualy will start heading back towards you like people have sed before DO NOT FLY it will take you even longer and its pointless when you reach the image just look in the grass/cave until you hear the magic music of a legendary battle. i think that's as much help as i can give you guys good luck xxkyexx

mesprit is a wandering Pokemon, so after it runs away, it goes somewhere out in sinnoh. if you switch locations at certain places, mesprit will eventually get to where you are. do not fly to a nearby location with mesprit, or it will run away to a different place. hope this helps =D
