If you accidentally make Giratina faint, you can always catch him again later...

Really you find all three legendary pokemon. You go to Mt. Coronet, Go to spear pillar, Dialga and Palkia will be in the back and Giratina will be in the front. after you get past the distortion world you use rock climb and in the meadow you will find Dialga and Palkia.
