If your Pokemon game keeps restarting and is unable to save it means that the internal battery in the cartridge is dead. You can either replace the battery or buy a new game. If your interested in replacing the battery you need a CR2025 coin cell battery. They're about 5 bucks
You dont once its dead its dead
With a dead internal battery (which is what I suppose you meant, and not 'eternal'), I don't think you'd be able to save the game at all. The internal battery keeps track of time based events, such as the day of the week, and once it has run dry, time based events will no longer occur. Berries will not grow, and, in the case of Pokemon Ruby, the Roaming Island won't appear. If the battery has died entirely, the game will cease to save.Assuming your internal battery has run dry and has not, in fact, bitten the dust, no, you still cannot capture Latios. It has nothing to do with your battery, however. According to Bulbapedia, http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Southern_Island, you'd need to either mix records with someone who has used an E-Reader and scanned the physical Eon Ticket into the game, or actually scan the card yourself. E-Readers haven't been available for years. And finding the actual ticket would probably be more trouble than it's worth, if you could find the E-Reader and the ticket.
The most common reason that people cannot save is because the internal battery is dead. this can be repaired easily you just need to carefully open the back of your game cartridge, replace the battery with one of the same voltage, close up the case, and your done! Harry :D
Either the controller is broken, or your battery is dead. Try plugging in your controller to the PS3 to see if it will turn on.
your internal battery must not be dead. then it is based on time
It has to be a dead charging system.... usually a short internal in the alternator
Most likely because the internal battery in your game is dead. It won't save unless you replace the battery inside of the game's cartridge.
Is it a problem of the battery goes dead or does it crank but not catch? If the battery is going dead over time perhaps you need to check the battery and/or alternator. If it's cranking but not starting, check the computer codes.
Dead Battery was created in 2000.
There should be a catch directly behind it you can access from inside the trunk.
Alternator is defective, dead cell in the battery, or something is on pulling power from the battery.

if it is saying "save file corrupted" then your internal battery is dead. this battery powers the chip that saves data. to fix this just Google "how to replace a GBC internal battery". This same thing happened to me with my Pokemon crystal but i fixed it in a half an hour for less than $10.
dead battery dead alternator dead voltage regulator each needs to be tested.
A storm has nothing to do with the battery going dead.
Depends on the battery.
