It depends on how hard you hit it, and what with. Let's do a test. Put your DSi on the floor (make sure you open it first). Hit it with your hand. It probably didn't break. Might've bent back a little, but just snap it back into position. Now, find a large metal object. Hit your DSi with that. If you did it right, your DSi should be broken! See? Isn't science fun? :)
Improvement: If you want a broken DS, do what he/she says. I would not recommend it however. Lol. I once dropped my DSi and it broke. I dropped a DS lite twice and it still worked perfectly.

Okay, the only answer is that you have to post a # amount of stars' comment to ask to unlock it... and the other way is to download it anyway nd edit away... lol besides that i have no idea O_O sorry lol! Actually, there IS a way! To do this you need two dsi's. First, download it to one dsi. Second, hit send flipnote on that dsi to the other one. Third, it will ask you do you want to unlock it, or lock it? Hit unlock. BUT, if you want it on that dsi, (the one that you originally had it on) delete it and then send it from the dsi that has it unlocked to the one that you deleted it from.
The action replay will break if you put the r4 into action. It happen to me before.
