It's apparent then, that he doesn't find you important enough to get back too. If you didn't leave a message and just called (no answer) then I would give it two more chances. The most probable explanation is that if he hasn't answered after five calls, then maybe he hasn't got his phone on him? He could have a proper explanation. Don't call him again.. otherwise you look rather desperate. I myself go by the call three times rule. one call; just a normal call, don't bother calling back. two calls; he knows that I want to talk to him and he should probably call me back. three calls; its pretty obvious I want to talk to him, so he'll probably call me back the next time he gets the chance. To put it simply, boys have a short attention span, he's probably forgotten to call you, and feels bad that you've called him five times. He's probably waiting for a while to call you back, so it doesn't look like he.s just calling because you called him so much.
